An extremely rare square, smooth glazed Troika vase.
The vase is a deep brown colour that is very similar to the smooth glaze found on some half smooth/half rough spice jars. The vase has been incredibly well looked after with just one small chip.
There are numerous small manufacturing blemishes, this is due to the pottery finding it hard to manufacture this type of smooth glazed ware - hence production ending and the items becoming sought after.

The measurements are: H (total) 9", H (top half) 7", H (bottom half) 2", width (top half) 4" square and the bottom half 3.25" square.

The diamond cut out is approx 1.5".

The vase is fully backstamped.

A really lovely and rare piece.
